6 Spots in Harlem with Outdoor Dining

Technically we’re still in the winter season, but the warm weather in New York has been conjuring up spring and summer vibes; which only makes it right to take our turn-up activities outdoors. Whether it is a rooftop, a garden patio, or a sidewalk, many restaurants and bars in Harlem are embracing the warmth and giving their customers outdoor seating options. Whether you’re looking for an outdoor spot to chill with friends, unwind with bae, or catch up on some work during the day, there are several places throughout the neighborhood that deliver pretty dope outdoor dining experiences. We’ve rounded up six of our favorite places in Harlem that offer outdoor seating.

Nestled in a brownstone along Lenox Avenue Chéri, a French-inspired restaurant, boasts a beautiful backyard garden patio. The plant-filled patio is nothing short of romantic with Victorian-inspired furniture and candlelit tables during the evening. It’s the perfect spot for a sexy date night with your boo. As far as the food, Chéri prides itself on having “home style cuisine.” Similar to the Harlem neighborhood, their menu is ever-changing. The chef frequently recreates the dinner menu and uses ingredients from local markets and organic farmers. If you’re about that brunch life, Chéri is the perfect chic spot for a brunch outing with friends. They have a delicious selection of burgers and a tasty dish called the “Salmon Saffron Casserole” which includes fresh salmon & seasonal vegetables in a saffron sauce. During brunch, Chéri offers 1 hour of unlimited mimosas between 11am – 12:00pm. Learn more about Chéri here.
