Harlem Halloween Guide: Where to Celebrate Halloween Uptown

Still in need of Halloween weekend plans? Harlem is the place to be. There are so many festivities going down throughout the neighborhood over the next few days. Whether you’re looking for a dope brunch party to attend, want to bring in the midnight hour in your 90s-inspired get-up, or you’re set on doing something spontaneous like a 3-mile run throughout Harlem donned in your costume; there’s something going on for everybody in the neighborhood.

Ginny's Supper Club

Harlem Halloween at Ginny’s Supper Club

Attend the “Harlem Halloween” edition of Harlem Friday Nights at Ginny’s Supper Club. The party kicks off at 10 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to those with the best costumes. Find out more info.

Prince-Inspired Halloween Party at Angel of Harlem

Purple rain, purple rain! If you’re a Prince fan, then you won’t want to miss this Halloween event at Angel of Harlem that is inspired by the late legendary singer. The festivities will kick off at 9:00 p.m. DJ Likwuid will be on the 1s and 2s. Find out more info.

Harlem Nights Bar’s Halloween Edition of Uptown Soul Lounge

Want to kick off your Halloween weekend with a little live music? Swing by Harlem Nights Bar for the Halloween installment of their Uptown Soul Lounge. Performers Amber Mimz, Mary Akpa, and Morgan Taylor Jones will take the stage. The performances begin at 8:00 p.m. Those with the best costumes will get a free drink. Find out more info.

‘Brunch, Booze, & Boos: Brunch & Day Party’ at Angel of Harlem

Looking for a daytime Halloween turn up? Head over to Angel of Harlem for the “Brunch, Booze, & Boos: Brunch & Day Party.” Come through costume ready and indulge in Latin and Caribbean fusion  eats and rum punches on ­­rotation for an additional $20. DJ E Class and DJ Kando will be spinning dope tunes. Brunch starts at 12:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended. More info here.

Bierstrasse NYC’s Halloween Party

Celebrate Halloween by the Hudson on Saturday evening at Bierstrasse NYC’s Halloween party. There will be drink specials all night longggg (Beyoncé voice) and the individual with the best costume will get $300. There’s no cover for entry. The party will start at 9:00 p.m. and go on till 3 o’clock in the morn. More info here.

The Thriller-Inspired Flash Mob at Harlem Shake

How many of you watched Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and wished you could’ve been in the video? We’ll here is your chance. Harlem Shake will be hosting an MJ-inspired flash mob on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. DJ Stokes will play tunes from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Those who wear costumes will get discounted drinks all night. Maison Harlem’s Costume Party

Want to have a super sexy Halloween night with great cocktails and good music? Check out Maison Harlem. The restaurant will host a costume contest on Saturday. There will be prizes, a DJ, and Halloween-inspired drinks. More info here.

Peque NYC’s Halloween Party

Sangria, house music, and dope costumes is what you’ll find at Peque NYC’s Halloween party. There will be a DJ spinning classics all night long and a $5 sangria drink special. More info here.

‘True Blood Meets The Dark Circus’ Party at Cove Lounge

Celebrate Halloween at Cove Lounge for their “True Blood Meets The Dark Circus” party. There will be $8 drink specials all night and the person wearing the best costume will be awarded a prize. The party kicks off at 10:00 p.m. Find out more info.

Little Bamboo’s Halloween Party

Want to sip on some Halloween-inspired drinks with friends? Swing by Little Bamboo Harlem. Their mixologist will be whipping up drinks like “Goosebumps” and “Witches Brew.” DJ Ness Digital will be on the 1s and 2s. 2nd Annual Halloween Fun Run with the Hamilton Heights Running Group

Want to run a three-miler through Harlem in your costume? Link up with the Hamilton Heights Running Group on Saturday. The group is hosting their 2nd Annual Halloween Fun Run. During the run, the group will stop by local spots in the neighborhood to snap pics. More details here.

Television Character-Themed Party at MIST Harlem

If you plan on dressing up like your favorite TV star, then you’ll definitely want to stop by MIST Harlem. On Halloween Day, MIST will host a TV character-themed party. There will be food and drink specials from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Entry is free. More info here.

 Don Julio Tequila Halloween Celebration at Corner Social

Bottoms up! Celebrate Halloween with Don Julio Tequila at Corner Social. There will be a Don Julio Tequila truck parked outside of the restaurant and you’ll be able to indulge in some tasty tequila cocktails. The festivities will kick off at 6:00 p.m. and go on through 9:00 p.m. More info here.

Monsters Ball “Hell Up In Harlem” All Black Masquerade & Costume Party at Underbar

Down for a Monday after work turn up? The Block Association will be hosting a masquerade-themed costume party at Underbar in Harlem. The event is sponsored by Tito’s Vodka. The event kicks off at 7:00 p.m. and will go on until 1:00 a.m. There’s no cover with a RSVP and there’s password only entry. More info here.
